Family Home Evening!

Last night for family home evening, we make shirts for Halloween.  We just bought some white shirts and iron-ons and ironed them on! (I GOT THEM AT JOANN'S)  It was fun, we also made cookies...YUMMY!

Here is KJ hard at work, ironing!
peeling...
Wearing!
Aren't we so cute!
This is my shirt up close...
and they all glow in the dark too!
I love glowing things!  :o)
(If you click on the picture and make it bigger, you can actually see the outline of the bat too.)

Here is PG's first cookie dunking....

ambidextrious sleepy head!

Everyone thinks that their child is the most amazing....in as much as it is true that I do think they are the most amazing...they also prove it!  Here is PG proving it!

Look at that talent!  He is ambidextrious!

Ok, he really just hasn't decided which hand he likes better but it is still cute!
and here is our sleeping princess!  just a beautiful little girl!  Especially when she is asleep!
Although she is smiling in response to people talking to her, on a regular basis now. So that is very fun.  I love when babies become responsive!

Relief Society

Mom got tickets to the RS broadcast at the Conference Center, so she took us daughters (that were available to go)
It was very cool to be in the conf. center.  I love being in the same room as the prophet!  He didn't speak but he was there.  Elder Uchdorf gave an amazing talk! The RS general presidency gave great talks as well.  I guess I need to go to the temple, serve more and love myself better!   I loved it all!

It was expecially great to hang out with 2 of my sisters and my Mom!  :o)

Elephant hair!

I put PD on the floor on her Elephant while I went to go do something for PG.  This is what I came back to...

She was fussing but it looked like she was wrestling with "Ella", but by the looks on her face I am not sure she thought she was winning!
GRRRR!  Get her leg!
SOMEBODY, PLEASE!!!  HELP ME!!!
I was doing my hair after my shower and PG wanted to do his hair too.  He has this thing that whatever you put on his hands he has to put it in his hair (lotion, hand sanitizer, soap, whatever) so I gave him some jel...then i helped him make it look better! He is a cutie for sure!!!

BOO!

Scared ya!
They are so cute even when they are yelling "BOO!"
The other day I put PD on the floor and went to go make dinner and I turned around because PG was saying something to me...and he was holding PD!  He had picked her up and brought her to me...that was a little bit scary!  Fortunatly he was holding her under the arms and not around the neck.  So we have been working on proper baby holding technique...One arm under her arm and one under her bum.  We were practicing with the doll.  He says "yeah, bum!"
Heather and James came to visit.  He is a mobile little guy.  And cute too!
Sunday was Michael's 50th birthday, so we threw an "Over the Hill" birthday party for him (and Dad cuz he turned 70 last week)  That is why Heather and James were visiting, they came to surprise him.  We decorated and got it all ready for when he walked in from church.  He was so shocked that Heather came, instead of a heartattack, he dropped his scriptures and said "goodness gracious"!  It was fun!
Here he is in the wheel chair with his old man face!  Happy Birthday!!
Happy Birthday to all my September Birthday's!!!

open plane day....

So "open plane day" in NOT as COOL as "open cockpit day" but it is better than "standing beside the plane wishing you could get closer day"
In any case we take what we can get and it was PG's first open anything day.

He didn't care for the laying down bit but he did love running around and looking at everything.
He was especially happy that Papa came too.  Uncle Dave flew in and hung out with us for the day too.
This was the only one that you could actually sit in the cockpit of ... it was only a cessna but better than nothing right?  I think so!
here is the OLD time radar system console...I felt like I was in an underbudget sci-fi movie
technically speaking he wasn't supposed to go under the rope but it was funny!
Here is the bird worth seeing!  and touching for that matter...if only I could have sat in it too...but at least I could look with my hand and not just my eyes!
I think Dave was happy too!

Even Mom and Papa made the hike up the stairs to check out the cockpit.
(you could look inside the plane but not sit inside it)
Here is Dave and I chillin'
Here is Papa with his favorite airplane...I believe it is the mustang!
All in all it was a good day!
We had fun looking at planes and being together with family!
Live is good! (especially with you combine family and planes all into one day!)

Sweet PD!

Here is our sweet little girl...growing so fast!
Sleepy girl...this was just too cute!
Here she is on her 1 month birthday!  Kicking and playing with Ella the Elephant!
This is brotherly "love"  aka...torture!  But they are both still alive so all is well!
This is her after brotherly kisses!

She is starting to smile, not just on her own at random things but actually in response to peoplr talking to her!  I love this phase!!!  It just gets better from here!

bye-bye...pretty toes!

SO...the other day we said good bye to our old friend...MiKaH the toyota...He was a good fellow while he lasted...but he got old and died so we sold him to the junk yard where parts of him will live on...in other cars! It was kinda sad to see him go, but it is for the best!  Farewell Old Friend!

You know you have a toddler when things get quiet and you know you have to go check on them because they are most likely in something they shouldn't be!  And I should just know to take the camera with me...because most likely it will be something "bad" but funny!  Like this for instance!
See  his pretty toes....He did it all by himself!
And the purple fingers...they are LOVELY!
He managed to NOT get any on the carpet!
and only one little spot on his shirt!
Over all not too bad!  :o)

only in the video...

KJ could be playing with PG for hours and they will just laugh and play...the second I turn the camera on to capture the monents of laughter...PG inevitably gets hurt!
I swear it never fails...

So it starts out a fun game but we always get to document the "tragedy"!!!!

1 Month!

Here is our little gal...growing up!

(I know this post is a bit late but that is life!- I am always a day late and a dollar short!)
This is her at 1 month!
Still a cutie...not very photogenic yet though!
But she will get there!  :o)

14 September 2008

After we went out for dinner last weekend we took the kids to the park. They had so uch fun.  Ok, so PD didn't really know what was going on but the rest of us really enjoyed it...and I am sure deep down she did too!  :o)

SEE-SAW!!!  SEE-SAW!!!
(PG wasn't too sure about this one though...it was his first time on a see-saw!)
Now this is the one you can't get him OFF of!

he comes by it honestly though...I LOVE to swing!!
Our little climber!

Here she is,our little slider!  She is so cute!    :o)

Ward Camp Out

We went to the ward Camp-out up Ogden Canyon in the middle of NOWHERE....we had fun...Once we got there!!!  We decided not to camp over night (since it was really cold in the mountains and we have a 1 month old....)

But we did go up for dinner and hung out with the people in our ward.
(having said that, I look at this picture and realize that I am not doing much interacting with people as I am sitting by myself....There were people by us before...I swear!
I do have a disease you know!)
We even stayed for the bonfire...I was a little sad that they didn't have marshmallows though.
But it was nice to have some warmth...
PG liked the freedom to run around and interact with other kids.  He is also a very big mooch!
This little girl had skittles...he wanted to be their best friends.
I thought these girls looked so cute all bundled up together by the fire.
Ward functions are so fun!!!  I love our ward!
We made our way back out of Liberty better than we found our way in...and we made it home safe and sound.  It was a good time!
