UTA frontrunner...

UTA (Utah Transit Authority) just finished their light rail trail line from SLC to Ogden. As a "come check us out" promotional, they are giving free trail rides for the 1st several days. So for FHE the other night Grandma and Papa went with us (and 70% of UT) to ride the train. It was crowded but a lot of fun!
Waiting for out turn to board!
Here is the train...aka...the Front Runner!
Cute PG being held by Papa signing Train....(the sign is really 2 fingers rubbing back and forth quickly on the 2 fingers of the other hand!) but he hasn't figured out articulation completely, but it is still sooo cute!!
PG is teething and Monday he happened to be running a fever and was kinda lethargic...it made it nice though, he didn't want to run all over the train....I really liked this pic of him resting on Papa's shoulder!
After going to Ogden, we finally got seats on the way back...

PG pooped out on us...but like I said before, he wasn't feeling well!
Here is our little family in front of the train, it was fun, maybe we will do it again sometime!

few randoms!

After KJ's party was over, Mindy and I were bathing the kids trying to settle them down for the night, after a long day of playing hard and I heard a knocking on a window...and it sounded like it was comming from the kitchen....now we only have 3 window in the house and only skylights in the kitchen....yeah, can you guess what Dave and Jon were doing?
This is my view from the kitchen looking up!
Silly boys...oh the things I have to look forward to when PG gets bigger!!
KJ's Mom gave me a bike. (Which I am soooo excited about!) the only problem is that there is nowhere to put PG so I can't really ride a lot. So, KJ said I was allowed to get a bike trailer...as long as I use it! PG is SOOOO happy with the new "gruck". It was great to see his delight as we started down the street. Sorry, I would have gotten a picture of that, but I was driving the bike. :o) When we got back and I went to take him out he said, "No, Mommy, No!" It was cute, too bad for bed time!!! There is always tomorrow right! :o)

Happy Birthday King Jon!!!!

So today is King Jon's birthday! YAY!!! and there was much rejoicing in the land!!!! So here is the cake...in case you need the explanation....here it is! Those of you that know KJ at all know that he is very "tech savvy" and he loves to play with anything computer-ish! For example His PDA, "Dexter" so I replicated Dexter! He likes to play video games on Dexter, so I had him pull up a game and I replicated that too.... Here is what Dexter looks like with the game on the screen...KJ is offering a small reward if you know what game it is...hee hee! (note...KJ is offering the reward so who knows what it would be, so don't get your hopes tooo high!)

Here is the side view of the cake, with the SD and CF card slots and other buttons on the sides.
Of course who could pass up playing games....
apparently not these two!
He even let PG help him blow out the candles. PG has a book that has candles in it, and you can fold down the flap and the candles are lit and stuck in a cupcake and he always blows on them in the book...he got a little candle shy though and KJ had to blow both out himself. Over all it was a good day filled with good food, family and friends.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KING JON!!!!

"Gruck"!!!

As we all know "grucks" are PG's favorite things in the world. Well, Thanks to Aunt Joy and Heather he now has a new "gruck"...ok, so it is really a car but he doesn't seem to care. He can get in it when ever he wants...and he plays with it ALL day long! Which means it is one my favorite toys too! :o) It's it cute!!
he is even learning how to get it to move without getting out and pushing it to where he wants it then getting back in! It is fun to watch him learn!

Thanks Joy and Heather!!!

Princess Adara's blanket

Since it took me a year and a half after PG to get his blanket finished and now he feels no attachment to it...I decided to get PA's finished before...which in reality was my intention with PG's but because of a frustrating sewing machine my plan was thwarted...but not this time! I finished!!!!
It is a pinwheel design with a fleece backing! I like it a lot! My mom looked at it and said...wow, that is busy! But I like busy! Hopefully PA will too! :o)
Here is the pinwheel square up close. I should have gotten a pic. of one with a darker colored button on it. But if you look close you can see the button that I tied into the it. It adds a little more character! :o)

a few more pics

I know I am a little late but I wanted to post these few really cute pictures! We got a new futon mattress for our couch, so Daddy and PG turned it into a cool cave!
This was in Logan from, PG was looking at the Box Elder Bug! it was so cute to watch him follow the bug around and watch it,
Then his interest changed as Derek started jumping off the little wall around the tree, so the 2 would climb and "jump" around. They were very fun to watch!
The 2 finally sat down by each other and it made a really cute pic. unfortunately I wasn't fast enough to get PG in the picture. But Derek was more than happy to smile for me.

Meanwhile PG had run to the front yard to watch for "grucks" instead he saw a bike! Which is just as cool!

baby...animals!

Last weekend we went to Logan cuz my neice's baby was being blessed, since we always enjoy time in Logan, we went up Saturday. American Heritage Farm had their baby animal days. So Joy and I took a bunch of kids to pet the animals....or be licked by animals....as in this case. This may look like a baby cow, but it really is full grown. It is just miniature. He sure thought PG tasted yummy...PG just giggled! It was so cute!
We saw lambs, llamas, Alpacas, bunnies, chicks, sheep being sheered, snakes and other reptiles and horses too...all PG wanted to do was push the stroller around. and if he couldn't push our stroller, he would run away to some other family and steal their stroller! This boy and "grucks"
If he wasn't pushing it, he was trying to latch the buckles...this is how I distract him in the store...I show him the seatbelt on the cart and he is "appy" for 10-15 minutes! It is great!
I LOVE this picture. He ran to the fence to watch the horse drawn wagon...
This is us on the horse drawn wagon....much warmer than our last wagon ride...I got sunburned!

This is PG on his first pony ride. I couldn't ride but I got my face painted! :o)SUPERMAN! PG just laughs!
and this is baby James. The affor mentioned blessed baby. He is a cutie! Congrat Heather and Darin...we love you!!

FINALLY!!!!!

When I was pregnant with PG I made him a quilt....unfortunately my sewing machine gave me fits and I got frustrated and put it away. Well, in the move it resurfaced...I now have a new sewing machine, thanks to Santa and my loving husband 2 Christmases ago, so I thought I would give it another try...you know try to clean up the never ending pile of projects. (And since we are having a new one I need to start working on her's.) So I unpicked the crazy seams from years ago and put new ones in and tied it while I watched a movie last night! (August Rush, is a good movie btw) Anyway, here it is! It is kinda crazy but I like it.

PG likes it too! :o)

A real basket case!!!

Last night I showed PG how to put the toy basket on his head...isn't he so ADORABLE!!!

Here's pointing at you!
This is his face after saying "APPY" I love it!!!
This was last night, he decided to just get in it!
I honestly have NO idea what he is doing but it was funnnnnny! He lifted up his shirt, walked over to the wall and started touching his belly to the wall. Maybe he liked the cold! I don't know, but it sure was amusing!

Dirt, Bubbles and Family!

I wanted to post these a little while back, but I just my hands on them. Then with other things going on in our lives...I haven't posted in a bit. But here they are. We went to my sister's house to help her after the baby and it was a really nice day so we went outside to play. PG found some stray snow/ice in the garden. So he thought he should sit down and have a taste.

While he was there, he thought he would play in the mud too! It was gross! He is for sure...
ALL BOY!!
BUBBLES!!!!

We went out and played with bubbles the other day. I am not sure who had more fun, PG or Daddy! :o) It is fun to have children...you have an excuse to act like one and no one looks at you funny!

It was so fun to use the wand and spin in a circle. The bubbles went everywhere and the smiles were plentiful too! This was taken at the viewing for Phil. At the end I put PG in his jammies and he sat on the couch with daddy and just chilled!
Here are a few pictures from the funeral. The bright side of a tragedy is family! Being able to get together and enjoy love support and laughter in the face of sadness. It was good to see everyone...I just hope we make time for each other more often then the sad times!
PG saw the "gruck" and was headed for a ride, but got distracted by the noise that his shoes make on the headstones! The simple joys of life!!
Here is the Pabst/Buckman picture
and the Pabst/Haltiner picture!

It was good to see family and enjoy the pie! We love you all!!! :o)

YUMMY!!!

Hugs and kisses to you all!!
