matching cousins!

So this was NOT planned.  We went to Grandma and Papa's for dinner and at the end of the evening like always we get our kids ready for bed in hopes that they will fall asleep on the way home and can thus be stuck right into bed (for that matter they will be stuck right into bed anyway!)  well, Manda dressed Tahlia and I dressed PD and it turns out that randomly we picked out the same outfits for our little girls...
So here they are, our littl matching girls!
(you might even think that we shop at the same places...and together,
that we even have the same outfits...)
Tahlia is 5 months older than PD...I think Manda is right it is only a matter of time before PD gets bigger.
This was a week and a half ago...so she wasn't a smiley girl yet.
Look at those eyelashes!  She is almost as cute as PD!  :o)  (J/K Manda, I really think she is BEAUTIFUL!  I am just biased towards my own!  :o) )

Update on PG!

Up close and personal with PG.....

everyone that has had a second child knows that the 1st child does some crazy things in order to feel like they are getting ample amounts of love and attention!  PG has figured out that doing things that the baby does gets him attention... He likes to sit in her spots...like this one for ex.  I think he is tooooo big for the car seat!(of course he has been too big for it since he was 6 months old...but who's counting!  :)
We went for a drive through the emmigration canyon and I was talking to my brother on the phone while I fed PD and PG decided to "drive"  he is so happy behind the wheel of a car...behind the wheel of anything that goes really!
And he also wants to do everything that Mom does...so he stole my resistance band and did his leg exercises!  and there you have it....
the update in a  nutshell...PG is still our wonder PG - into everything and making us smile!  (and cry sometimes when he decides to headbutt one of us!)

bunny smiles!!!

I had to post these.  We got the cutest bunny towel from someone in our ward, and when I first put it on her head and wrapped her up she put her hands up to her mouth and was sucking on them...and she looked like a little bunny eating a carrot or something...but like always the camera is always too far away to catch the moment...but here is our bunny anyway!

She is a cute bunny I have to say!  (no bias whatsoever!)
This morning I was able to get her to smile for the camera!  So, I helped her a bit...
but it worked!
Then she could do it on her own too!

I love when they can smile!!!

trucks and hikes!

We made our daily walk to the park and our monthly visit to the firehouse...

He even turned on the lights for him!  What more could a boy ask for....
I will tell you...
MORE TIME to sit in the "RIRE-GRUCK"
The other day we went "hiking" again...we love the smell of fresh air!
It is very rejuvinating!
Here are the girls!
and our little family!
I think this is our first picture of all 4 of us!
Look at that green background!!!  WOOHOO!!

My 2 silly beans!

Here are my two little silly beans!  They are so "cute and funny"  but just like my roomate that used to say that..."they are better in person"!  But if you don't see us regularily, or at all...I guess this will do!  :o)
My 2 little blondies!

Sleeping beauty
Yet another great pic of Daddy eating PG!  YUMMY fun!!!
PG was "helping" with PD and hit his head...he didn't like keeping the ice pack on his head...it was too cold!  (imagine that!)

He still loves clothes baskets...hey if I could fit in one I would probably play in there too!
This is PD's cute cowlick, right in the front of her head...it is a perfect pretty swirl but I am sure it will be the baine of her existence when she gets older!  :o)
Here they are again....when she cries he says "shh shh shh"  just like mama!  (That is what his mouth is doing in this picture!)
We went to the park the other day and some little kid drove up in this truck...with permission he jumped in and didn't want to get back out!  I showed him how to push the peddle and make it drive and it really freaked him out. But he still liked to sit there!

She is definately "toadally cool"  (this one is for you Donna and crew!!!)
Look at those cute tootsies!!!
today was the first time that I laid her down to play and she acutally laid there and looked around for about 10 minutes and didn''t scream her head off!  It was cute!

Logan again....

I know I start a lot of posts this way, but here we go again....
A few weeks ago we went up to Logan for the weekend.  And as usual, we had a great time visiting family and eating cheese!  In addition PD had her first overnighter away from home.  She was a trooper for sure!
Here is daddy feeding her....or is he making her feed herself?  I told him she is a bit young to be expected to do that, but there she is being a sport, holding her bottle.  :o)  Daddy sure is spoiled!
PG also had a first...he slept on a big boy bed, in the night when we would get up with PD, KJ would have to scoot him back on the mattress, but he did it!  Isn't he cute!  :o)
The kids and I went to Joy's for  the afternoon...Uncle Michael took us for a tractor ride.  PG wasn't too sure about it at first but then he really go into it.  It was a little crouded in that little trailer, it had David-Scott, Ashley, Me and PG then we picked up 2 neighborhood kids as we went up the street...it was a bit much!  But tons of fun!

The other day I gave the boys hair cuts....PG was walking around in just his diaper...say no to crack! (maybe I should change him more often...NAH!)

welcome to the land of the living...

First a side note:
I have been asked how to say her name: Adara
We pronounce the "ARA" like in Sara
A-dara

now that, that is out of the way....
Here are my babies! I have been a bit out of it recently....for some odd reason! But here are a few snap shots from the last little while.

Here is PG and PD (I changed it from PA...since that is a state! Instead of Princess Adara, it is Princess Dara) they are so cute. It is always so weird to change her diaper then his...their bums are different sizes. It is fun to have a little one again though!

When PD is sleeping I try to play with PG, so he feels less neglected. We played trains the other day, it was so much fun. CHOO CHOO!!!!!
KJ's sister had a baby a week before us, here are the 2 together.
Isn't it nice of her big brother to share his car with her! He was SOOOO happy!
This is his favorite thing in the world...to hold the baby. He tries to pick her up - which I DISCOURAGE STRONGLY - but if he sits down I will hand her over...He likes to say he wants to hold her then as soon as he gets her he says "all done" then gets into whatever it is that she was in...aka: here baby bathtub, the bouncy seat, or the swing...I don't mind him being in them...except for the swing!

PD was being so cute when she was sleeping. I love when babies make faces and little squeeky noises! She is so cute!
