Snow caves....

So i am a little behind...what else is new? But I guess some things are better late than never! Last weekend we made a snow cave in our front yard. We got 16 inches of snow on Christmas and several more since then. We have a north facing house so the snow sticks around. Everytime KJ shovelrd the drive way he would pile it up in the same spot. Then since the exchange students were here, we made the cave together! I think they enjoyed it as much as we did...PG was just SOOOOO happy to be outside!!!! (big surprise there!)
So here is our snow cave adventure! Rodrigo and PG were shoveling the icy steps.
PG also did a lot of playing!!!
Raul dug...

along with KJ and Tiago!
Then we got to play in it!

it was rather roomie...

Raul fits in just great....

Tiago too....

Both KJ and I fit in it... we could lay down side by side flat one our backs and not touch the sides.

There it is, our lovely snow cave in our front yard! It is still there over a week later, it is a little shorter but still there, chillin' out in the yard waiting for more people to come venturing in! :0)

sounds like you had fun digging out your snow cave. We built a snow cave and slept in it a few years ago. It was really fun.
