Memories....

I have left memories on several blogs now so maybe it is time to see if they will leave some on mine! :o)

here is what you do...
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. :) If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments... Please Play! :)

Meet you in the past! :o)
P.S. You can leave your favorite of KJ or PG if you prefer! :o) (or all of us!)

I remember getting my toenails painted with clouds and a rainbow while we watched conference with your folks. My toenails looked great the next week when I performed bare-foot in the Messiah :)

I remember, before Ethan and I got married, going to church with you and John. While we were there, at one point during sacrament, where John notice my skirt was perfectly flat on my lap. He made fun of me, because it was taut enough to have bounced a bouncy ball off it. Then there was also all the maternity clothes shopping. I was soo glad I did that with you, there was nothing out here.

One of my favorites was when Garen would get wet in the sprinklers on our morning walks. He was so funny! And I loved talking to you while we walked--I haven't seen a friend that consistently since high school. Primary (and getting myself out of bed in the mornings) just isn't the same since you moved away :)

Of course there are a billion memories, but for the most part I remember all the traditions. Sunday potlucks, Naming the Christmas tree and all you little ornaments, etc. Then there is all the things I watch you make in awe, like all the quilts for your family, cards, scrapbooking pages, your own wedding dress! Then there were all the things you could fix, like your car and my emotional breakdowns. The list of things I think of when I think of you just goes on and on. As for a memory of KJ, well, just rest assured I'm sure David would be shocked if your husband randomly showed me his chest. Love you guys!

Laura,
I remember the fun party/reunion we had at the McClelland house and the Garden Park Ward. The fun we all had together. So very glad you were there. I just wish you had stood in the picture...but it was a little early. It was a day I will treasure always. You were an important part of that day for me. Thank you for being you. You are very loved.
