Happy Independence Day!!!!

Here is the report of our FABULOUS 4th of July weekend! With boys this cute and happy, you know it is bound to be a good time! We went to Manda's and had a BBQ/sleepover!
You can't survive a hot July day without the pool!

Papa lighting up the fire for the s'mores!! (We did steaks on the grill earlier, but it was getting to be dessert time!)
the boys helping Papa with the fire! It's looking good!
This was their first s'more experience! Heaven for them!! Ma4rshmallows and chocolate!!
(although Ransom preferred them plain...not toasted...we think he burnt his tongue on a marshmallow, that could definitely be a deterrent!
I think she wants "S'more!" - isn't she beautiful with the marshmallow look?
PG is the swinging man!!! He was on that swing for an hour or more! He LOVES to swing!

Grandma was pushing him and kept saying "do you want to go play?" NO! "Do you want a drink?" NO! She tried everything! But he just wanted to swing...it looks like Papa likes to swing too!
Here is our set up for the night's accomodations...the kids were SOOOOO excited to play in the tents and the anticipation of camping was almost too much! Ashton came to me around 4 and said, "I am tired, I think we should set the tents up and go to bed!" or at 4:30 "it is dark now, we should go do fireworks!" We were able to hold him off but it was all he could do!

Snaps are soooo fun, but it is a hard concept for little guys...but he sure was trying hard!
Ashton with his sparklers!
Ransom with His sparklers!

The neighbors were setting off a lot of fireworks and stuff...so we sat and watched the nieghborhood show and
Here are the spectators!

Our family the next morning. Thanks Ashton for taking our picture! :o)
