TOO big?

One of the benifits to being skinny is that you can do things that bigger people can't do!
For Example.....
KJ in the coupe!

BEEP BEEP!!!
Learn how to drive clown!
What on earth is Daddy doing?
We never know do we!

Happy Birthday Ashton!

I can't believe that he is 5 already! There he is...
The birthday boy!

I made him an "orange fuzzy blanket" - he has been wanting one for years and I finally remembered to make it. I am told that it is his new favorite....Spidey has been shelved...unless Ransom is scared and needs some "spidey protection" :o)
He also got a "jump-o-lene"! We couldn't find the nozzle for the air pump...so there they are blowing it up by hand and by mouth! It is huge so it took a while. Man I love my Papa! He really does so much for us! :o)
Grandma was having fun with the little girls,
while the jump-o-lene had fun....
with the boys! :o)
Happy Birthday

Randomness.... again.....

If you look at this blog regularly, then you will know that I am BEHIND....AGAIN! Sorry.
There really is no good excuse, just laziness....and lack of time. We are in the process of buying a house so I have been trying to get ready to move....and for some reason my kids like to have my attention when they are awake....so most of the time I choose them over you...I would say sorry, but I am not, at least not for that reason! Anyway, I will marathon post today and you will be all caught up! :o) and I will be too! Enjoy!!

He is a big boy and likes to sit on the potty...unfortunately that sitting is all he does....
but it was so funny, he was hugging his big duck while sitting!

Logan was blessed in Nov. so we went up of course...here are the 2 babies together...
it is amazing the difference of only 6 weeks.

the big boys liked playing in the leaves together...they are really having fun together these days, they are closer to dev. levels now that they are older and they don't change as fast. They are cute to watch and PG LOVES to play with "der-ik"
PG: Man of Mystery, and stealer of other peoples clothes and shoes! :o)

Welcome home Elder Rollins....

We found out that Mitch was coming home and Manda and I happened to be together for the day so we put our kids to work on the coolest poster! THey really enjoyed finger painting and using paint brushes too...Thank the Lord for Washable paints...it was everywhere! But they had a great time and so did we.

HUGS at Baggage claim!
WELCOME HOME!!!
Here is the welcoming crew!
yes, I was there too....
After we picked him up, he and his family went downtown to see the Joseph Smith Movie then we met up with them for dinner at our favorite Chinese place (the China Platter) YUMMY! This is where he got his first dose of electronic gadgets....he is playing air hockey with KJ on KJ's "iPod touch"
Welcome home nephew! You did a great job out there, and I know the Lord is pleased! We love you! And look forward to family activities where we get to hear stories about the mission! :o)

I fell in LOVE with Wheat!

I hope I am not alone in this...but the we are told to put wheat in our food storage...I have hesistated for one simple reason (and one complicated one...no space and moving all the time) I had NO idea what to do with it! Now Manda she is an amazing person...she found this lady that teaches classes on wheat, powdered milk and oats...so, we signed up! We went to the Wheat class and the milk class. I am so excited about wheat and powdered milk now!!! I know, it sounds so silly but I love them. I can now make rolls that rise and taste good even when made from wheat! I know how to soak it, grind it or sprout it into grass! It all sounds so simple yet it is not if you don't know how! :o) I also learned how to make yougert out of powdered milk! It is amazing! i am so HAPPY!! Thank you Lorainne and Thank you Manda for finding her! I now can follow the counsil of the all the prophets and store my wheat with cnfidence that I won't starve anyway...even with the wheat! YEAH for wheat!
(and powdered milk....I just have not used it yet...)

but here is my first attempt at wheat rolls!

PD turned 3 Months!

Time flies when your having fun!
and we are definitely having fun! She is smiling and Giggling now and she LOVES to talk!!! She can roll from her tummy to her back, but not the other way (which is normal, she hasn't figured out that the tummy is a good way to travel...time will take care of that!!)
She is happy on her schedule and so am I! She is sleeping through the night. Which makes everyone happy! :o) all in all, life is good for a 3 month old! :o)

Marathon Drive to Oregon and Back!

The other day we drove to the Ore-Ida Border for a funeral. Dave, Eric and KJ didn't want to take Friday off work, and none of us had $ for a hotel so...we left at 2:30 am on Thursday morning. We drove all night so we could be there by 9am.
This was our gas stop just before Boise, PG was happy to get out of his seat and "drive".

Have you eaten your baby today? PD was eating hers!
(PS, thanks to MAZ for this baby - she absolutely LOVES her,
she doesn't like to sleep without her)
After the funeral was over we had lunch. We got to spend time being with family. It was nice.
Here is Grandpa with PD and Logan, his 2 newest grand babies!
Here is Dave and his family...I think it came out pretty good!
Can't forget the pics with Grandma Pabst. PG just wanted to get down and play, but we were able to get one decent picture.
Uncle Nathan and PD! I think this picture turned out really cute!
While putting the chairs away PG was having fun getting rides from Uncle Eric.
Derek had his turn and so did Grandma! :o) She is tons of fun!!! :o)
PG was sad when the "truck" was put away, so he tried to get it out himself...all he got was shut in the closet! :o)
Great Grandma Pabst, meet PD! *Pwuh*
Dress shoes can be such a pain! (Literally!!)
Nathan left for work before we got around to taking this picture...but here are the siblings that were there. (Jon, Eric, Dave, Chante', Crystal, Terianna)
Leaving the church KJ stopped to play in the leaves with the kids.

Back at Daddy's we hung out and let the kids run for a bit before the 6 hour drive back home.
PG wanted to help G-Grandma with here sewing...it's all about the pins!

The kids went out to play on the playground...and Grandpa had a tractor...can you guess where PG stood around?

So Grandpa got out the truck and was going to take them for a ride....

PG didn't really care for the height or the noise so he wanted out!
Then we packed up and headed back home....we were back and in bed by midnight...it was a marathon of a day but we did it safely! Poor KJ he did all the driving and NO sleeping - so he ended up not going to work and sleeping in til noon! :o)
