Day 4...

Once again we thought we would give Mom a break from all the kids and Manda, Sara and I took the kids to the zoo...we started with 8 kids and 3 adults until Manda's friend joined us and made it 10 kids and 4 adults.  It was tiring but a FUN day!

We started with a few animals then it was "feeding time at the zoo"!
Look what someone put out for the trash man!  (ashton, jarom and sam)
Hey, those boxes aren't supposed to just get up and walk away...you would have thought we were at the circus not the zoo!  Silly boys!
Sara, Ari, and Boo in front of the giraffes.
Here is PG and I with the "gerge"
Isn't it BEAUTIFUL!  I am so proud of this picture.  God made such wonderful things to take pictures of too!
Here is most of our group, sorry Angie, you got cut off on my camera...I hope it came out better on yours!
We saved the train ride for last...PG was SOOOOO happy to be on a train!
Here is Sara and her girls...CHOO-CHOO!!!
This is what happens when a toddler is told they can't ride the train anymore and they he trips on his shoe and is too tired to stand back up...Gotta love temper tantrums!
while we were at the zoo they finished shingeling the roof,
Good job!
(but I forgot to get a picture of the finished product...sorry!)

2 months on day 3....

Well, this morning I took PD to her 2 month check up!  Can you believe it has been 2 whole months!  She is growing well and is happy. She weighed 11lbs. 4 oz. and was 24 inches long.  Putting her in the 67th%-tile for weight and the 96th %-tile for height.  She turning out to be our tall skinny strawberry blonde with blue eyes!  It's a good thing that she looks like us or people woule wonder who's she was!!  :o)

There's our big girl!  :o)
Almost as big as "Ella" her Elephant!

After I got back from the doctor's office, I took the big kids to the park and Sara stayed home with the sleeping babies so she could get some homework done.  We Delayed going to grandma's to give her a rest.  :o)
Boo and PG LOVED playing together...it is fun to watch him with someone his age.
Everything they did was "Monkey See, Monkey Do"
They took turns doing things that they other one was sure to copy...soon!
He loves this bar thing, so I had to get a picture of it while I had my camera at the park.
Told you...."Monkey See, Monkey Do!!"
again...
After lunch we decided to fingerpaint...It took PG a few minutes to get the hang of it but then he really liked it.
Kira seemed to be an old pro at it.
Even Ariana got her hands in the mix..It was fun!!!  Now my refridgerator front is full of little kid art!  I have now moved into a new stage of life...little kid art!  :o)
Ri found great joy in the bouncer!  And we found great joy in her giggles instead of screams!
I shared PD's bows with Sara's girls....isn't Ari cute?!
day 3 continued while we were at home playing with the kids...They got all the shingles off both sides and
Started rolling out tar paper so that the new shingles could be delivered in the morning
look, Jody is even good at clean up...Kira look at "Bobop" working
Kira was helping hand up the tar paper...ok, not really but she was so happy to be in the truck.
(sounds like someone else I know!)
Here is the side view of the new room on the back of the garage, and the new roof with sheeting and everything
You guys did a FABULOUS job! And quick too!
It was so fun to have everyone that was here, here.
We love our family!!!!

Day 2

Day 2 was great too...
at least for PG who loved to climb up and down the latter...I later found out that he actually got on the roof and walk around looking for Papa...fortunately there was not mishap with that adventure!
Here is Doug and Jody putting on the new roof over the new room that they built yesterday!
Dad was hauling sheeting for the new roof.
Trevor and Donna were on clean-up detail as Others ripped off the old shingles making room for the new.
Here is the master foreman...walking the ridge pole of the roof.
(Luckily his is more stable than Anne of Green Gables was!)

Day 1..

So Mom and Dad were in the Market for an addition on the back of the house and new shingles for the roof....So, they had Doug and Jody come out and help them.  With them came Donna's family (minus Ethan and Aubie).  Saddly Doug came without his family and Dan and Danna Didn't make it.  But Mike and Anna were here too.
It made for a long week of partying!  It was quite fabulous!!
SO....

Here is Jody and Trevor taking a break after putting the floor on the new room.
Donna and Dad looking on from below...

Aunt Joy took the kids for a walk, and it was a little chilly so PG and Ransom barrowed sweaters.
PG is wearing Kira's jacket....
and Ransom is in Tahlia's....you know what they say...Real men wear pink!
Back, hard at work
Grandma getting PG's attention...it was too cute!
Even the little kids were helping pound nails.   Ashton pounded nails for an hour or more I think....He was in heaven!  The other boys were too...they were ALLOWED hammers!
Here is Fish holding PD
Who knew Grandma's couch could hold 7 (Michael, Tahlia, Joy, Donna, PD, Jody and Kira)
We even got to spend a little bit of time with Aubie over webcam!  It was great to see her again and talk to here, even though she is a thousand miles away!

Bear Lake one more time for the year!!!

This past weekend, we finally got to have our vacation.  KJ's work has a condo in Bear Lake and we got to use it for the weekend.  The weather was kind of crappy over the weekend but we made the most of it.  PG enjoyed the swing and running around after our tennis balls.  It was a great relaxing weekend!  Dave and Mindy were able to come up and spend a bit of time with us.  Conference was absolutely wonderful and we were able to watch and enjoy it up there.  Here are a few pictures from our trip!

Tid-Bits...

Here is PG doing his "chore" -

it is his job to help daddy take out the trash!
It is really just an excuse to get outside!
she was sleeping sideways in the swing, it was cute to watch her peek out sometimes
box: (noun) boys favorite toy!
and a foam finger trap to boot!
Raise your hand if your sure!
(this is for the activity day girls that made these cute onesies!  I had to post one for them!)
