New Exchange Students...

Meet our new "sons"....
KJ and Augusto
(you would almost think like father like son)
Paulo and Luis
As you can see they have already bought out most of Best Buy and are happily planted on the couch with their new toys! :o)
Last night we went over to the church and the boys played some B-Ball. (I ran the kids around to get them warn-out for bed)
Look at that air!
They are fun and we are excited to have some nice boys here! :o)

A day WITH the zoo!

Manda wanted to paint her upstairs...PG wanted to play with Ransom, so they happened on the same day and everyone was HAPPY!PD decided that Rody and Ashton make a GREAT game! She would bounce then throw herself backwards into Ashton's lap and they would both just CRACK UP! It was hilarious!!!!
(See the movie at the bottom of the post, I couldn't get it to move up...ugh!)
Look, she has teeth! (she actually is getting tooth 7 and 8 right now) She is SO dang cute!
PG had his turn on Rody too! I love when I take pics of the kids they will say "cheese" but NOT really smile...I get goofy smiles all the time! Silliness!
Ransom wants you to see the Duck, that is big enough to ride! (PD does it everyday!)
Ashton just likes to be silly..."hey take a picture of this..." (and this and this....) :o)
I told you these 2 had a TON of fun playing together...PD was tickling him, then he would fall over and the laughing would continue! :o)
PD went down for her nap so the boys and I made cookies. It was SO much fun!!!
and then I let them eat their fill! Happy chocolate teeth!
Serious cookie eating face here!
YUMMY!
then they watched a movie and played...they were SO good. It was a great day!

Day of adventures....

We started our day REALLY early in the night....I was up on and off ALL night with PD. She was coughing and gagging, and not sleeping and having a hard time breathing. I did what I could - and held her and loved on her and gave her meds...but by 5am her croupy cough was so bad! She was starting to retract and panic because she couldn't breathe. We decided that the ER was our best bet...
So I got dressed and took her in! We went to the new Riverton hospital. The people were SO nice and calm. I am SO grateful for the spirit that I was able to be calm and level headed and rational! They gave her a breathing treatment, but it made it worse so they gave her a steroid and a different breathing treatment and that helped a lot. She had to have a chest X-Ray to rule out Pneumonia... she didn't really like that and to tell you the truth it was kind of hard to watch for me. She wasn't hurt just stuck! But she calmed right down and was GRATEFUL to get out of that silly contraption! We had to stay there for a few hours to make sure she didn't have any bad side effects from the steroids. So her and I took a nap. She was SUCH a champ! She was happy and cooperative. Everyone thought she was so cute. It was a pleasant experience...for what it was. It makes me happy that that is where the baby will be born. I feel like we will be well taken care of! :o)

Later that day I got to sit and cuddle with BOTH of my babies! PG was really good for Daddy at home, he was very calm, the idea of someone having to go to the hospital and "get a little poke" does not make him happy! He gets really nervous with the whole thing! So, he was HAPPY we were home!
This was actually taken a few days later, but this is the "Daddy Horse"
Sometimes the daddy horse crawls, but sometimes he runs! Either way the kids LOVE it!
Daddy horse, tag, hide and seek and flying/flipping are very common and most loved around here! :o) What a good Daddy!

For New years!!!

This was my DI find the other day...A really cute rocking chair for $5!!! The kids LOVE it! I am happy I found it and decided to buy it! :o)

In our family the reason you make a gingerbread house is so you can smash it with a hammer on New years....
It symbolizes "out with the old and in with the new"
I got to smash mine too! :o)
Later that night we went out to dinner...PG is so funny...he made me wear the hat for a little bit!
Then we went bowling...
We ALL had a GREAT time!! :o)
Look at that line-up!!
PD was happy with a package of pop rocks! :o)
It is pretty sad when your 3 year old BEATS you at bowling...even with bumpers and a ramp, we should have done better than THAT! :o)
We stopped and played ski-ball on the way out! I LOVE that game!

This years murder mystery....

Our annual Murder Mystery Dinner at Manda's for New Years Eve. It was fun. It was set in China...
I am married to the murderer! :o)
The group! (Notice Manda's wig and cool dress!)

Temple square....

We went downtown to see the lights...you know like everyone does! PG LOVES to ride the train, so we decided to take trax downtown and walk around.
Me and my sweetie! :o)
Shivering as we wait for trax to come...we went to Litza's (YUMMY!!!!) first then went to see the lights.
the nativity on the reflection pool!
our family, all bundled up...ready to leave for home!
