24th Parade!

We went to the end of our street on the 23rd to watch the big parade. it took about an 1 1/2 -2 hours! It was a big parade! :o) But it was a LOT of fun.
Here we are! We sat with others from our complex too. We had a fun little group.
I was really hot with the sun on our backs...but at least it wasn't in our eyeballs!
We had to get a pic of KJ with Link!

This was FUNNY! I think they should have proof read their sign BEFORE they put it on the car that they ran in the parade. Unless this girl really was voted "Miss Outstandig Teen"!
But I highly doubt it! :o)

here is our little dancer! This isn't the best video of his best dancing but everytime I would startt the video he would slow down. But you get a little foot stomping and twirling! He LOVES music. Everytime anything went by that had music he would start wiggling around dancing!
It was TOO cute
Even when he was too tired to stand and dance he wiggled his behind to the music with his head on the ground!
Here are my 2 boys! Don't they look happy!
PG even got a balloon sword...he thought it made a fabulous chew toy....

maybe not!!!and like all good things...there is an end...and someone has to pick up the trash!

Memories....

I have left memories on several blogs now so maybe it is time to see if they will leave some on mine! :o)

here is what you do...
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. :) If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments... Please Play! :)

Meet you in the past! :o)
P.S. You can leave your favorite of KJ or PG if you prefer! :o) (or all of us!)

catching bubbles!

I really need to get a video of PG saying "bubbles" it is just too cute. He LOVES them. Last night he was playing with bubbles with his daddy and he got the cup out of the bathtub and was trying to catch them. I was too late for a good picture so this is what you get!

At least he is really cute reguardless!
For FHE last week we went for a drive up Emmigration Canyon. We stopped at Little Dell Res. and our car wouldn't start....that has been the story of my life recently. I am seriously ready to drive it off a cliff! It would be worth more to me...anyway....this is PG helping Papa fix the car. He just LOVES to drive! They changed the starter, now something else is having issues...I think I am in the market for a new one!
This is the kind of car to go with I think...it doesn't have any problems starting! :o) I just don't think our whole family would fit in it!!! Since PG and his little friend Logan Barely fit!!! Logan was playing and the best way PG could figure out how to use the car too without getting in trouble was to share....Logan didn't like being squished...but he loves the car too!!!
Last Sat. we went out to breakfast and this is KJ's "foooffy hair" He needs a hair cut!!!
Daddy was getting attention for "foofy hair" so PG thought he should get his share of the action!
And this was too cute! This was a really cute towel that I got at a baby shower for Adara, PG thought is was great...and he even makes a cute pink bunny! :o)

Beached whale take 39 (almost)

I think the title says it all....

Daddy's boy!

Here is PG and KJ playing....They were having sooooo much fun.

PG was just laughing and laughing. I love when they play together. It is so fun to watch...I can't help but sit and laugh with them! (as you may hear in the background of the video)

This one is of our little circus train as it runs off the table. For some reason this possibly destructive (for the circus train) behavior was VERY amusing for PG...I think he was just really SLAP HAPPY! But it was really funny for us to watch too!!

Bear Lake revisited....

Another fun weekend up north...we won't get a really good vacation this year because Jon just started a new job and doesn't have a lot of time off, and what he does have we are saving for when the baby comes. (which will hopefully be soon!) so we have been taking these short weekend trips and they have proved to be very fun.

This weekend we headed back to Logan where we camped in Dave and Mindy's back yard. Here are my little campers way too early in the morning.
Once we got out of the tent, the neighborhood cat strolled by...much to the delight of PG! Fortunately the cat is used to children! It only hissed once after he pulled it's tail!
Mindy and I went to the farmer's market to get some berries for our trip and there was a playground so the boys took a little swing together before it was time to head home. :o)
Manda and John with their family, and Joy with her youngest 2 were supposed to meet up with us and we all were going to Bear lake to play for the day. We got a late start. But we made it up there. First stop was the Minnetonka caves. They have little tours that go down into the cave...unfortunately, we couldn't get on a tour until 4:30pm and we had to be to Pickleville playhouse at 5pm...that wasn't going to work, so this was the one pic that I got...of us driving away!

Instead we all headed down to the beach to check it out for an hour or so before the play.
Here is David-Scott playing with PG.
Here is Jon, the leader of the bucket brigade!
PG was very comfy with the whole water thing and would just walk around freely. He really liked to sit down near the shore where the water would come to his belly and wait for the waves to come in and splash him. Look at that face...that is "APPY"!!!
'Manda and I took a walk out toward the "deep" and Ashton came out to be with us...when he finally made it, he said "oh, I made it, I kept drowning under the water!" (meaning he would loose his balance and go under, but he did really well at recovery!) so we took his hand and let him float along for a little bit!
Dave could always be found with a string of kids following! The noodle was big hit!
After our fun in the sun, we went to pickleville playhouse to see a show. Mom and Dad and their friends Bill and Laura met us there. We saw the same show as last time but it was still really funny! It was also fun to be there with more family. It was a great weekend, but we were really tired!!! Thanks Manda and Joy for planning this so we all could have a great weekend together!

Happy Independence Day!!!!

Here is the report of our FABULOUS 4th of July weekend! With boys this cute and happy, you know it is bound to be a good time! We went to Manda's and had a BBQ/sleepover!
You can't survive a hot July day without the pool!

Papa lighting up the fire for the s'mores!! (We did steaks on the grill earlier, but it was getting to be dessert time!)
the boys helping Papa with the fire! It's looking good!
This was their first s'more experience! Heaven for them!! Ma4rshmallows and chocolate!!
(although Ransom preferred them plain...not toasted...we think he burnt his tongue on a marshmallow, that could definitely be a deterrent!
I think she wants "S'more!" - isn't she beautiful with the marshmallow look?
PG is the swinging man!!! He was on that swing for an hour or more! He LOVES to swing!

Grandma was pushing him and kept saying "do you want to go play?" NO! "Do you want a drink?" NO! She tried everything! But he just wanted to swing...it looks like Papa likes to swing too!
Here is our set up for the night's accomodations...the kids were SOOOOO excited to play in the tents and the anticipation of camping was almost too much! Ashton came to me around 4 and said, "I am tired, I think we should set the tents up and go to bed!" or at 4:30 "it is dark now, we should go do fireworks!" We were able to hold him off but it was all he could do!

Snaps are soooo fun, but it is a hard concept for little guys...but he sure was trying hard!
Ashton with his sparklers!
Ransom with His sparklers!

The neighbors were setting off a lot of fireworks and stuff...so we sat and watched the nieghborhood show and
Here are the spectators!

Our family the next morning. Thanks Ashton for taking our picture! :o)

36 weeks!

Here I am in all our glory!!!!

Bandaid man and other fun stuff....

Because he is always hurting himself...he now knows what bandaids are!
So, when he finds them...he opens them up and tries really hard to stick them on...whatever he can!

Unfortunately, he gets them stuck to his finger and then they get all crazy and they don't stick, but he sure enjoys it!
Manda invited us to go with her to Herriman the other day, because they have this splash pad park. PG wasn't too sure what to think about the whole water flying everywhere and getting him wet...
But he did enjoy running around the park, up and down the little hill...I love that he is so easily amuzed!
But he did get some water play in with Ashton!
Thanks again Manda for another fun adventure south on 111! :o)

Signs with a purpose?

So there is this Chocolate Place here in Bountiful. And like any good business they have a big sign that they put their little messages on to make you want to come in and buy chocolate. Like around Mother's Day they said something about how Mom's love Chocolate...so come on in!

I am not sure what kind of chocolate they are selling with this sign...but I think it definitely makes a statement!
